House Portraits • Historic Homes and Sites
JoAnn Case-Nichols is a native New Yorker, but has deep roots in the Three Village area where her family has lived for four generations. She attended New York City's High School of Art and Design in Manhattan, then went on to Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, graduating with a BFA.
After many years in the graphic arts/publishing field Joann returned to her first loves-painting & architecture. She now brings these elements together in her house portraits and landscapes. The natural beauty and grace of the Three Village area appear in many of her pieces, and are often easily recognizable.
Her work has appeared in local publications such as the Times-Beacon-Record, The Three Village Herald, The Smithtown News and Senior News. She has also worked with the Brookhaven Tourist Board and various real estate agencies. Her work is in private collections as well.
JoAnn is very excited to present her newest work on the following pages - a beautiful line of greeting cards, depicting intimate scenes of the Three Village area. |
