I believe the amount of time a health care provider spends with you is the single best indication of how concerned he/she is with your welfare. I know when I choose someone to see me for my health care concerns I am not only looking for a thorough physical exam. I want to feel at ease throughout the entire visit. I want a comfort level that would give me the freedom to ask a stupid or revealing question without fear of embarrassment.
