Desires and How We Got There:
“I would like a nice white smile for my self esteem. I need to feel pretty again, and I know that Dr. Koeppel will do a great job.”

Lynn’s teeth were so worn down by grinding that we needed to open her bite up a little so that we were able to restore her teeth back to her original length. We put her bite where her facial muscles were in the most relaxed position. If the muscles are relaxed her dentistry would last a long time. She wore an orthotic for three months which accomplished this (an orthotic is an acrylic bite appliance, made to a very specific position). We then restored her upper arch first with porcelain precision attachment bridge and with a precision attachment partial denture (no clasps). Her lower arch was then restored with an 8 unit porcelain cosmetic bridge and a lower custom cosmetic partial denture.
