The Little Angel Fund is a non-profit, tax exempt organization established in March of 1984 by Jenny and Joseph Tranfaglia in memory of their daughter, Amanda Rose. Amanda was born 16 weeks premature and after a 33 day struggle for life, she died. In an effort to have Amanda remembered in a special way, and to help other families, the Little Angel Fund was started. The Tranfaglia's believe that everyone has a purpose in life and that this is Amanda's.
The Tranfaglia's have made it their mission to make life a little easier and more comfortable for the infants and their families while in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and to also act as a resource for the bereaved who have lost a premature child. The Little Angel Fund consists of a group of parents helping other parents get through an extremely difficult time in their life.
