Location: Setauket Arboretum; Bates Road Parking Lot, Bates Road, Setauket, NY 11733 Directions: From the Long Island Expressway: Meet at the Parking Lot by the Bates House in Setauket (by Mill Pond). Take Main Street off of 25A, stay to the left at the fork in the road, pass the Library on the left, slow down and right after traffic light make a right onto Bates Road before the Post Office and Mill Pond, take Bates Road until you get to the paved parking lot (pass by some barns until you see a very large house). Wear suitable foot ware and outer clothing for the weather and walking on trails! Will be cancelled in the event of rain!
