Learning to Walk
 
I would always walk very fast
Felling like I was on a cardio roll.
Fitness mags said it was a great heart blast
But did nothing for my soul.
Now I tend to walk rather slow
Looking around as I stroll.
Seeing life as a gentle flow
As wide eyed  as a new born foal.
I know that progress takes energy to burn
A concept I fully understand.
I've paid my dues and had my turn
Now I'm content with the happy land.
